Laurel is Founder of Pick My Brain Consulting, Inc. and is internationally renowned and consulted for her ability to come up with creative and atypical business solutions. Pick My Brain Consulting, Inc. (PMB) was founded in 2008. A successful business owner for 10 years, Laurel received more and more calls from clients asking for guidance, counsel, and if they could “pick her brain”. From this she created a unique consulting group founded on the principal that no single brain holds all the knowledge, but that a collective of consultants with a variety of talents, experience and education could offer comprehensive services that would provide clear and measurable results. The company has three key service areas: Business Consulting & Assessment; Event Management & Marketing and Facilitation & Training. Pick My Brain serves clients in corporate, non-profit and academic settings. Clients include: VCA Antech, DIRECTV, University of Southern California and in partnership with Synaxis Meetings and Events, Pick My Brain assists in the planning of the World Stem Cell Summit and the IPS-19 Conference on Solar Power Storage – sponsored by the California Institute of Technology.
